Some plugins put their menu items in the top level of the WordPress admin menu. This can cause a lot of clutter.
With Turbo Admin you have keyboard access to the menu, so you don't need all the items visible. So I've introduced the ability to hide top-level menu items.
This is currently available in the the browser extension (v1.16.0 or greater) and it will be added to the plugin version eventually too.
First, you'll need to turn the option on in the extension settings.
Then if you hold the alt/option key and click a top-level menu item it will be moved to a "More" section of the menu.
This section can be expanded and collapsed. And the items can be moved back to the top level by holding the alt/option key and clicking them again.
Your choices about what to hide will be remembered and will apply to all sites you visit.
This is a new and experimental feature it may change or go away. And I'm sure there are bugs and issues with it. Do let me know if you find any problems of have any ideas about how it should work. Thanks!
If you have any feedback on this feature (or anything to do with Turbo Admin) please drop me a line on Twitter. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
